More than a U2 U-Bahn stop, the Olympiastadion has many ghosts. Here is a peek: its history goes from horse racing tracks, to Nazi propaganda stage and to hosting three of the 1974 World Cup matches and the 2006 World Cup final. On this week’s talk, you will find out more about the history of the stadium and its former names: the Deutsches Stadion and the Reichsportsfeld.

Want to hear some trivia before today’s episode? The Olympiastadion was also where two interesting events made into the Guinness World Records book: the longest children painting and the most attended comedy act.
