Location:

Luisenstrasse 38, 12209 Berlin

Facts:

  • Over 1,000 pieces
  • Private collection

“Are you a cat friend?” That is the first question Mr. Helmut Glantz will ask when you visit his private collection in Lichtenfelde Ost. And he is probably right: what else could possibly matter when you visit a Cat Museum?

In his life, Glantz has owned 19 cats that are immortalized on a hand painted tea set. In the three room apartment, it is possible to find all kinds of things with cats from different corners of the world.

The Cat Museum can only be visited by appointment. The best part of this is to be taken around by Glantz while he tells stories of his acquisitions. To get your chance to visit the collection, call 030 7725149.
